Friends who know me well, should recognize me by the smell of Opium. I first encountered the famous Yves Saint Laurent scent at my grandmothers. I’ve been wearing it since I was 18ish. It’s a bit heavy for daily wear, though. For this reason, I’m ever so thankful for the Vapeurs de Parfum version. It consists of white floral, b

alsamic and citrus scents, without ignoring the sweet, smokey accents of the original perfume.

Beauty is a particular matter. I pursue the thrill of it in less obvious, preferably unjustified places and items. When combining these discoveries in my dress and styling I pay little attention to trends and expectations. Hereby I never settle for less than -my view of- flawlessness. Every occasion could be an event and therefore an opportunity to dress up, whether it is a walk in the park, a meeting or, of course, a party. I look at these moments as a license to explore the boundaries of kitsch and class, visionary and vintage, silly and streetwise.
All of this sometimes results in a rather peculiar appearancence, that seems to attract peoples attention.
